Welcome to ProfileHub ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (profilehub.eu) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

  • Identity Data: includes username, Discord ID, Steam ID, and GitHub username.
  • Contact Data: includes email address (if provided through third-party authentication).
  • Profile Data: includes your public gaming stats (Steam), coding stats (GitHub), and any information you choose to display on your ProfileHub page.
  • Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website (processed securely via Cloudflare).

3. Third-Party Services

We use several third-party services to provide our core functionality and infrastructure:

  • Authentication & Profiles: We use Discord, Steam API, and GitHub APIs to authenticate users and fetch public profile statistics. We only store the identifiers and mapping data necessary to display your public bento card.
  • Database (Supabase): Your account and profile mappings are stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase.
  • Hosting (Vercel): Our application is deployed and hosted on Vercel.
  • Security & CDN (Cloudflare): We use Cloudflare to protect our website from malicious traffic and to serve content quickly globally.

4. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • To provide and maintain the ProfileHub service.
  • To manage your account and connected profiles.
  • To display your public statistics (from Steam, GitHub) on your public URL.

5. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.
